We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Bilingual Customer Service Specialist (English/Spanish) to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and providing excellent customer service in a professional office environment.
Position Summary
The Customer Service Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for residents and property management clients regarding utility billing questions, account inquiries, and payment concerns. The ideal candidate is patient, professional, highly organized, and committed to providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails from residents and property management clients in both English and Spanish
- Assist customers with utility billing questions, account inquiries, and payment-related concerns
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies and account issues
- Process move-ins, move-outs, account updates, and customer information changes
- Maintain accurate customer records and detailed account notes
- Communicate professionally with residents, property managers, and property owners
- Support billing operations and administrative functions as needed
- Follow company procedures while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to learn utility billing and account management software
- Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated
Experience Preferred
- Experience working with property management, utility billing, accounts receivable, or multifamily housing
- Customer service experience in a professional office environment
- Experience handling high call volumes and resolving customer concerns
- Administrative or clerical experience involving data entry and account management

Additional Information
This is a full-time, in-office position located in Santa Rosa, California. Remote work is not available. Local candidates are strongly preferred.
