Job Summary:
Supports daily front desk operations in a busy outpatient clinic by managing patient check-in/check-out, insurance verification, authorizations, scheduling support, phone calls, and administrative tasks while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Front desk/reception
- Patient check-in and check-out
- Insurance eligibility verification
- Obtain prior authorizations
- Reminder calls to patients
- Answer phones and manage voicemails
- Scan and upload documents
- General administrative support
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of front desk or medical office experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with insurance eligibility and authorizations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic
- Basic computer and office software skills
Preferred Qualifications
- APeX (Epic) experience
- Spanish-speaking/bilingual
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting
