Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience in schools, pediatric settings, or healthcare environments is highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and school staff
- Adaptability to serve a diverse student population across multiple grade levels
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students aged birth through 12th grade
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure best outcomes
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Travel between school sites as needed within the county
This contract position averages 8 hours per day, totaling approximately 37.5 hours each week, providing a consistent schedule while reaching students at a variety of developmental stages.
