Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
  • Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Previous experience in schools, pediatric settings, or healthcare environments is highly valued
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with students, families, and school staff
  • Adaptability to serve a diverse student population across multiple grade levels

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students aged birth through 12th grade
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure best outcomes
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Travel between school sites as needed within the county

This contract position averages 8 hours per day, totaling approximately 37.5 hours each week, providing a consistent schedule while reaching students at a variety of developmental stages. You’ll have the chance to foster communication skills, build student confidence, and work alongside a supportive educational team.
