Key Role and Expectations: This position supports the fabrication and manufacturing of custom sports facility products, including netting, padding, and windscreens. The Production Worker plays a key role in ensuring products are accurately measured, assembled, and prepared for shipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
· Fabricate and assemble custom sports facility products.
· Stretch and cut material to precise measurements.
· Safely operate equipment such as grommet machines, sewing machines (powering on/off, pedals, threading), hot knives, scissors, tape measures, and chalk lines.
· Identify and retrieve required materials; return unused rolls and supplies to storage.
· Fold, tie, and prepare finished products for transfer to the shipping department.
· Maintain a clean and safe work area by using PPE, following machine safety procedures, and reporting equipment failures or defects.
· Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, depending on task assignments.
Required:
· Ability to read and understand basic work orders and instructions.
· Physically capable of performing fabrication tasks (lifting and pulling up to 45 lbs., standing, bending, stretching, etc.).
· Comfortable working in warehouse conditions affected by outdoor weather and climate.
· Basic knowledge of measurements and math for accuracy in cutting and assembly.
· Strong attention to detail, including verifying measurements, color matches, and straight cuts.
· Reliability in following directions and collaborating with team members.
Preferred:
· Bilingual English/Spanish
· Knowledge of basic hand tools
