Quant Leaf Labs is an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited testing lab in DTLA, hiring a full-time Lab Assistant.
You'd run the front end of the lab: receiving and accepting incoming samples, logging them into our database, and helping with sample prep. Accurate intake is what every result downstream depends on, so it's careful work. You'd also take the company vehicle out to client sites for sample pickups now and then.
We'll train you on our methods. You bring the STEM background and a head for precise, methodical work.
Requirements:
- STEM degree (chemistry, biology, microbiology, or similar)
- Available full-time
- 21+ with a valid California driver's license and a clean driving record
- Comfortable with detailed data entry and following lab procedures closely
Details:
- $20–$22/hour to start, with room to grow
- Full-time, with some early, late, or weekend hours depending on the lab's schedule
- Company vehicle and fuel covered for pickups
- Good coffee - we run a Slayer espresso machine, and it's open to everyone
