Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 50 firm seeking a Mid-Level Corporate Associate to join its Los Angeles office. This partnership-track opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 4–6 years of corporate transactional experience, with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in sophisticated M&A transactions across a variety of industries
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex transactional documents
- Manage transactions from inception through closing
- Lead deal teams and work directly with clients
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys on national and cross-border transactions
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of M&A experience at a top national law firm
- Significant hands-on experience managing and executing transactions
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and project management skills
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication abilities
- Active California Bar membership or eligibility to obtain admission
- Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $310,000 – $390,000 annually, depending on experience
