Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This rewarding contract assignment, set to begin August 10, 2026 and run through December (with potential for extension), is located at a supportive school setting near Murrieta, CA. You will be covering a maternity leave, working closely with a dynamic team that includes another SLP and an SLPA.
This opportunity centers on serving three medically fragile classrooms, making experience and confidence with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices essential. Your expertise will help students access their curriculum, express themselves, and reach their communication potential.
Your qualifications:
- Valid SLP license (CCC required)
- School-based SLP experience, particularly within elementary settings
- Demonstrated proficiency working with AAC devices and medically fragile children
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
What you’ll do:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services per student IEPs
- Implement and troubleshoot AAC devices, supporting both students and staff
- Collaborate daily with a tight-knit team, including fellow SLPs, SLPAs, teachers, and support staff
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student care planning
