We are a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals who provide remote, on-demand support for both short-term and long-term legal projects for our client law firms.
Due to increased demand, we are now interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated California Family Law / Business Litigation Attorney.
Remote work hours will vary, but are expected to be approximately 10+ hours per week.
Attorney Responsibilities:
- Provide support on family law and business litigation matters
- Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
- Assist with case strategy, analysis, and litigation planning
- Review case files and help move matters forward efficiently
- Support hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation activities as needed
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and legal teams when appropriate
Attorney Requirements:
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of California
- Minimum of 5+ years of family law experience
- Business litigation experience strongly preferred
- Strong experience with motion practice, discovery, and case management
- Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and meet deadlines
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Our Attorney pay rate starts at $80/hour.
