As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Gonzales, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report any concerns or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
- Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and assisting with traffic, delivery, and/or access control procedures as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
