Step into a highly rewarding school-based role as an Occupational Therapist, working with K-8 students across two vibrant sites. This contract position runs from August 5, 2026, to June 2, 2027, offering the chance to collaborate with a diverse team and make a lasting impact on student achievement and well-being.
In this full-time role, you’ll manage a caseload of 38+ students, as well as provide consultative services. Enjoy a consistent weekly schedule of 40 hours, with a balanced break for lunch each day. You’ll perform direct therapy, conduct assessments, write and implement IEPs, and partner closely with educators and families to support student growth and independence.
What we’re looking for:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapy State License
- Experience supporting K-8 populations, ideally in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of OT best practices within educational environments
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and case management skills
- Ability to work onsite at two locations
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, comfortable with consults in addition to direct services
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver Occupational Therapy services to assigned caseload, adapting interventions for individualized needs
- Conduct assessments, documenting findings and progress towards IEP goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing OT expertise
- Consult with educators and parents, providing strategies for classroom integration
- Maintain organized and compliant records in alignment with school district policies
