About the job
The Receiving, Distribution & Records Technician supports warehouse operations by receiving,
storing, distributing, and tracking supplies, equipment, and records while maintaining accurate
inventory and documentation.
We're looking for someone who
- Holds a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and work experience (preferred)
- Has 2+ years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, materials handling, or receiving and distribution (preferred)
- Has experience using inventory or supply chain management systems (preferred)
- Possesses basic computer skills, including email and data entry
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Communicates clearly and provides excellent customer service
- Is able to work independently and as part of a team
- Can accurately maintain inventory records and documentation
- Is willing to obtain California Designated Representative (Exemptee) certification for on-call eligibility (required)
- Is willing to support warehouse operations and other assigned duties as needed
What you'll do
- Receive, store, and distribute supplies and equipment throughout the facility
- Maintain inventory using the supply chain management system
- Deliver supplies to hospital departments and offsite locations
- Assist with the pickup and delivery of records and supplies
- Assign storage locations and container labels
- Operate barcode scanners to track inventory and records
- Retrieve, store, and purge records according to departmental policies
- Maintain record retention inventories with guidance from the Warehouse Supervisor
- Assist with general warehouse operations and inventory activities
- Support maintenance and upkeep of warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Provide support to additional departments as needed
- Maintain a safe, organized, and customer-focused work environment
- Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs safely
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the warehouse for extended
- periods
- Must be able to push and pull carts containing supplies and records
- Must be able to perform repetitive lifting, carrying, and inventory tasks
