As a Commercial Furniture Mover/Driver, you will be an integral part of a small moving team responsible for transporting furniture locally and occasionally over longer distances (all within Bay Area most likely). This role involves handling loading, unloading, and driving company vehicles while ensuring excellent customer interaction and adherence to safety standards. You will operate moving equipment and coordinate with your team to efficiently complete tasks with a focus on safety and timeliness.
Responsibilities
- Move commercial furniture safely and efficiently
- Drive company vehicles on local and occasional long-distance routes
- Load and unload furniture and equipment carefully
- Interact professionally with customers during moves
- Operate moving equipment such as dollies and hand trucks
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies
- Coordinate tasks and communicate effectively within the moving team
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in commercial furniture moving and driving
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL), but not necessary
- Knowledge of commercial driving and equipment operation
- Familiarity with safety compliance practices
- Strong time management skills
- Customer service orientation
