We're looking for a Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school community serving students in a middle school SDC setting near Clearlake. This is a full-time contract role running from August 31st, 2026 through June 16th, 2027, and travelers are not only welcomed but encouraged!
What you'll need:
• Valid and active Special Education Teaching Credential
• A genuine passion for individualized, differentiated instruction
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfort collaborating closely with families, general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to build and carry out IEPs
What you'll be doing:
• Designing and delivering instruction tailored to each student's IEP
• Collaborating with teachers, specialists, therapists, and support staff
• Tracking student progress and keeping documentation accurate and compliant
• Facilitating IEP meetings in partnership with parents and school staff
• Adapting curriculum and materials to meet the diverse social and academic needs of different learners

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
