This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with a diverse student population, supporting them and guiding educators as a valued School Psychologist. In this impactful role, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic school environment, providing essential assessment and counseling services.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state credential/certification to practice as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to develop IEPs, participate in eligibility meetings, and interpret assessment data
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations for referred students
- Collaborate with school teams to interpret data and create recommendations
- Develop interventions and support plans aligned with students’ strengths and needs
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions as needed
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Consult with educators, administrators, and families to promote positive student outcomes
- Contribute expertise to crisis intervention efforts and school-wide initiatives
- Remain current with best practices in school psychology and relevant laws
