Step into a pivotal role supporting students and teachers as a Paraprofessional or Instructional Aide for the 2026-2027 academic year. This rewarding, full-time contract opportunity spans from August 17th, 2026, through June 11th, 2027. Multiple positions are available across elementary school campuses, serving both early learners in Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten, as well as students in grades 1 through 5.
Enjoy steady weekday hours—32.5 hours per week—with school day shifts from either 7:45 am–2:45 pm or 8:00 am–3:00 pm, offering the flexibility to help cover before and after-school needs. The hourly rate for this role starts at $22 and above, reflecting the importance of the support you will provide.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children or students in an educational setting
- Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks, including toileting and diapering, when necessary
- Strong communication, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Flexibility to support a variety of age groups and adapt to different classroom environments
- Reliable, punctual, and committed for the full duration of the school year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional and behavioral support to students under the guidance of classroom teachers
- Assist students during classroom activities and transitions throughout the school day
- Support early learners with essential tasks such as toileting, diapering, and self-care as needed
- Foster an encouraging, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels supported
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to maintain a positive, effective learning environment
