Skills and experiences that will help you thrive in this role:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), SLP-CFY, or equivalent considered
  • Experience working in a school-based and/or pediatric healthcare environment
  • Proficiency in teletherapy or willingness to support students virtually as needed
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

As part of this dynamic position, you’ll:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
  • Create individualized treatment plans and implement therapeutic interventions to support students’ educational goals
  • Conduct sessions in person and/or via teletherapy platforms
  • Participate in IEP meetings and document progress toward related speech-language goals
  • Consult with educators and family members to facilitate comprehensive support for each child
  • Maintain timely records, reports, and required compliance documentation
  • Offer mentorship and guidance to SLP-CFYs if applicable
