About the Role:
Join our dedicated team at Sierra Animal Wellness Center as a Veterinary Receptionist! In this exciting role, you will be the first point of contact for our furry clients and their owners, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly demeanor upon arrival.
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirm upcoming visits and maintain an organized calendar.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism.
- Process payments and manage client records accurately.
- Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, well organized and welcoming reception area.
- Educate clients on services and products offered at the clinic.
- Handle client concerns and feedback with empathy and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in veterinary or animal care preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using office software and scheduling systems.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor towards animals and clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education is a plus.
- Willingness to learn about pet health and wellness.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
