Now Hiring: Special Education Teacher

Location: Fairfield, California
Position Type: Full-Time | School-Based

Are you a dedicated Special Education Teacher who is passionate about helping students reach their full potential? We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative educator to join a supportive school team in Fairfield, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to create an inclusive learning environment where students with diverse learning needs can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Position Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized instruction based on students' IEP goals.
Create a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment that promotes student growth.
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Assess student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Utilize evidence-based instructional practices and positive behavior support strategies.


Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid California Education Specialist Teaching Credential (or eligibility to obtain one).
Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and special education laws and regulations.
Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
