We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Trucking Compliance & Administrative Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
- Maintain Driver Qualification (DQ) Files in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Process new driver hiring and onboarding documentation.
- Monitor CDL, medical cards, drug and alcohol testing, and driver certifications.
- Maintain DOT and FMCSA compliance records.
- Organize vehicle registration, IRP, IFTA, UCR, and permit documentation.
- Maintain insurance certificates and policy records.
- Track annual inspections, maintenance records, and repair documentation.
- Process Bills of Lading (BOLs), Proofs of Delivery (PODs), rate confirmations, fuel receipts, scale tickets, and customer paperwork.
- Verify completed driver paperwork and follow up on missing documents.
- Assist with payroll by reviewing driver settlements and load documentation.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
- Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, brokers, repair facilities, and customers.
- Prepare documents for internal and external compliance audits.
- Assist management with transportation compliance and administrative projects
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of trucking, transportation, logistics, or administrative experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
