We are seeking a talented and personable Bartender to join our team in El Portal, California. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, knowledgeable in crafting cocktails, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Pay: $16.90-$17.50/hour plus tips
Position: Part-Time or Full-Time (Prefer candidate has flexible availability)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
- Engage customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Ensure guests are of legal drinking age and follow all alcohol service laws
- Monitor alcohol consumption and act responsibly in guest interactions
- Keep inventory stocked and notify manager of supply needs
- Assist with opening and closing duties
Requirements
- Minimum 23 years of bartending experience in a full-service bar or restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, pouring techniques, and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Must be 21+ years old and have or be willing to obtain a California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification and Food Handler Card
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
