Role:
Support the venues sustainability efforts by operating waste-sorting stations and recovering reusable cups that would otherwise be discarded. We are seeking enthusiastic, highly organized, dependable event specialists to join our team in Long Beach, CA for Warped Tour 2026. This role is ideal for entry level and experienced candidates and will report to the Festival Manager.
What Youll Do:
- Sort through trash and recycling bags to recover reusable cups that would otherwise be sent to the landfill
- Work at designated waste stations and dumpster locations throughout the event
- Remain active throughout the event, walking and standing for extended periods
- Assist with moving, organizing, and processing collected materials
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures while handling waste materials
- Represent r.World positively and professionally at all times
Who You Are:
- Physically demanding role requiring prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable handling trash and recycling to support sustainability efforts
- Maintain punctuality and demonstrate flexibility with scheduling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment with a diverse team
- Be a positive representative of r.World and maintain a professional, respectful attitude toward all guests, staff, vendors, and partners
- Preferred qualification: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish to assist with coordinating team members and translating guidance.
Compensation:
- $25.00 per hour, up to 10 hours maximum unless otherwise approved in writing by the Festival Manager.

- Marina Green Park along the Shoreline Waterfront: 286 E Shoreline Dr., Long Beach, CA 90803.
Parking:
- No parking passes have been issued by the event production.
- Local parking is very limited. It is heavily recommended to park at the Long Beach Convention Center (300 E Ocean Blvd) or use the Downtown public garages and walk to the park.
- Public Transit: Take the Metro A Line toward Long Beach and exit at the 1st Street Station, which is a 12-minute walk to the venue.
Uniform:Get ready to get dirty!
- Comfy shoes that you can stand / walk in for up to 10 hours
- Lightweight clothes and a hat. Recommending long sleeves/ pants to help prevent sunburn
- r.World to provide hi-visibility vests that MUST be worn on site and returned post-shift
- Nitrile gloves will be provided; however, team members are encouraged to bring their own work gloves if preferred
- We highly encourage bringing a reusable water bottle, personal fan, and sunscreen to feel comfortable in the Summer heat
