Job DescriptionGrowing Fire Sprinkler system organization has an immediate need for a Service Manager:

We are seeking an experienced service manager to lead and oversee our fire sprinkler service department. This individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, coordinating service schedules, handling emergency repair calls, and ensuring that all service work is completed efficiently and to code. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, industry knowledge, and a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Service Managers are responsible for the smooth running of the service department, including scheduling, workflow management, and ensuring timely delivery of services or repairs. They develop and implement service procedures and policies to standardize operations and maintain quality standards
Customer Service: They handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and third-party vendors is essential to encourage repeat business
Team Leadership: Service Managers lead, train, and motivate service staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance management. They foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting continuous improvement and professional development
Financial Oversight: Manage the service department budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
Compliance and Reporting: Develop reporting systems to track performance metrics, customer outcomes, and service efficiency

Job Duties

*Oversee all staff in office and field technicians, monitor team performance, provide feedback, and develop improvement plans.
*Coordinate with customers, staff & shop.
*Oversee scheduling, project management.
* Implement policies and procedures that enhance customer service experience.
*Manage budget.
*Ensure billing, documentation & procedures are completed in a timely manner.
*Create/manage new service agreement proposals.
*Coordinate emergency calls and critical work.
* Create Proposals and manage Daywork Projects.

Requirements:
•Minimum 5 years of fire sprinkler industry experience (service/repair/inspection)
•Minimum 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience
•Strong organizational and communication skills
•Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (scheduling, tracking, budgeting)
•Familiarity with project management software (Procore, ServiceTrade, or similar) is a plus
•Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
•NICET certification(s)
•Experience with local fire department and building inspection protocols
•College degree or equivalent leadership training
