Step into a rewarding environment supporting students as an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) for a contract, full-time role in the Huntington Beach area. This dynamic position spans 37.5 hours per week and covers the entire school year, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in educational settings across the LA County region.

This assignment is exclusively in-person, with a strong focus on serving elementary through high school students. Your expertise may also be called upon to assist with home health services, broadening the scope of your impact and professional experience.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid SLP license in California
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Ability to work independently and travel throughout LA County as assignments require
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, write reports, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student's goals
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Assist with home health care as needed
  • Adapt therapeutic techniques to meet students’ diverse needs
