Portfolio Manager

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Job description:

PTLA Real Estate Group is looking for multi-site apartment property manager (Portfolio Manager) to oversee and manage a portfolio of properties comprised of approximately 500 apartment units across 50 buildings. To be successful, you must be a strong communicator with a creative and hard-working attitude. You must be able to connect with and manage a team of leasing and maintenance team members, while also managing communications with third-party clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees the operations of the properties to maximize revenue growth and ensure community performance
  • Drives leasing performance and ensures all company benchmarks are met
  • Interacts with owners of properties to provide excellent customer service
  • Manages a team to carry out resident services, leasing, and maintenance coordination activities
  • Develops strategies and executes action plans to align property goals with company goals
  • Responsible for active team participation in all company programs and initiatives
  • Exhibits Role Model behavior in customer service and professionalism
  • Oversees community administrative and reporting functions; partners with Accounting Department to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Prepares and presents annual budgets for larger properties
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of Fair Housing and Employment laws. Ensures the same level of compliance from all team members.
  • Partners with Human Resources in the recruitment and retention of quality employees
  • Adheres to all risk and safety protocols and audits
  • Drives the growth and development of the team through effective coaching and counseling techniques

Required Experience

  • 4+ years experience in property management
  • Proficient using property management software; experience with Entrata is a plus
  • Customer relationship management experience
  • Experience managing a team is preferred
