Printomize America is seeking an experienced and motivated DTF Printer Technician to join our technical support team. This role involves working with advanced Direct-to-Film printing equipment, handling installations, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal printer performance. The technician will provide on-site service and training to customers nationwide, supporting their technical needs and enhancing customer satisfaction through expert support.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair DTF printing equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot printer hardware, software, and workflow issues.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on-site.
- Perform preventative maintenance and service calls.
- Travel occasionally to customer locations for installations and servicing.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with technical and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage software updates and conduct troubleshooting during customer training sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a DTF printer technician or related digital printing equipment technician.
- Strong understanding of printer mechanics, electronics, and software.
- Good computer skills including software installation, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage travel schedules.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in DTF printing technology.
- Associate degree in Electronics or related field.
- Experience with Eco-Solvent printing technology.
- Knowledge of printer hardware repair, software troubleshooting, and networking basics.
- Strong customer communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license for travel requirements.
