Make an impact supporting students’ well-being in a part-time, flexible role as a school psychologist. This contract opportunity offers 14 hours per week (.4 FTE) in a collaborative educational setting near Fremont, CA. You'll have the chance to work alongside fellow educators and mental health professionals, contributing your expertise to foster academic and emotional success for students.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid California PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) credential in School Psychology
  • Experience in school-based psychological services
  • Familiarity with counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation in an educational environment
  • Ability to administer and interpret psychoeducational assessments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs
  • Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as required
  • Develop intervention strategies and recommendations for individual students
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of education plans
  • Maintain accurate, confidential student records in accordance with district policies and federal regulations
  • Offer guidance and training to educational staff regarding mental health and behavioral interventions
