Pay Rate: $44-$56 (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time
Days: Monday–Friday
Start Date: 2026–2027 School Year
End Date: End of the 2026–2027 School Year
Work Setting: Onsite
Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school team in San Jose, California for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, onsite position serves a high school caseload and offers an excellent opportunity to help students develop the skills needed for success in the educational setting.
This is an ideal opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about promoting student independence and collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatment services to high school students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals
Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and progress reports
Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers to support student success
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Monitor student progress and modify interventions as appropriate
Recommend adaptive equipment, accommodations, and environmental modifications as needed
Perform all duties expected of a school-based Occupational Therapist
Qualifications:
Active California Occupational Therapist license required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Passion for supporting student growth, independence, and functional development
