Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team in Napa, CA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative dental environment and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care while supporting efficient clinical operations.
You will play an essential role in ensuring patients have a positive experience while assisting the dental team with high-quality clinical care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures
- Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment
- Take and process dental radiographs as permitted by licensure
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort throughout treatment
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
- Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
- Assist with inventory management and maintaining organized clinical areas
- Support smooth day-to-day office and patient flow operations
Qualifications
- Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and chairside assisting
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and commitment to exceptional patient care
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
