About the Role:
Sacramento Montessori is looking for a passionate and dedicated Montessori Teacher to join our inspiring learning community in Sacramento, CA. This is a wonderful opportunity to guide young minds through child-led discovery in a nurturing, prepared environment where every day makes a difference.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver authentic Montessori curriculum and lessons across core developmental areas
- Prepare and maintain an organized, engaging Montessori classroom environment
- Observe and document individual student progress and developmental milestones
- Foster independence, curiosity, and a love of learning in each child
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support school-wide goals
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences, school events, and professional development
Requirements:
- Experience teaching in a Montessori or early childhood education setting
- Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and child development principles
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare requirements
- 12 ECE UNITS
