We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead our team in delivering outstanding pharmacy services.
Position Summary
As the Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will be responsible for the overall management of the pharmacy while ensuring compliance with all California Board of Pharmacy, DEA, HIPAA, and applicable federal regulations. This role combines clinical expertise, operational leadership, and patient-centered care in a community pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the pharmacy team, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
- Oversee medication dispensing and managing inventory to meet patient needs accurately.
- Ensure adherence to all state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulation policies.
- Conduct patient assessments, provide medication counseling, and medical management services to optimize patient health outcomes.
- Maintain pharmaceutical regulatory compliance by implementing policies on clinical confidentiality, HIPAA standards, and healthcare regulations.
- Utilize Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS), Digital RX for accurate documentation and medication administration tracking.
- Oversee pharmacy operations including inventory management, drug regulation adherence, and ensuring pharmacy software is up-to-date for seamless workflow.
- Promote excellent customer service by communicating effectively with patients about their medications and health concerns while practicing clinical confidentiality policies.
Experience
- Proven experience practicing as a licensed pharmacist with a strong background in retail setting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage pharmacy teams effectively within a fast-paced environment; prior experience managing community pharmacies is preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare compliance policies related to clinical confidentiality, pharmaceutical regulation standards, and medication safety protocols.

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
