Registered Nurse – Outpatient Oncology
\n
**Schedule**
\n Shift: 5x8
\n
**Requirements**
\n - Active California RN license required at time of submission
\n - Minimum 2 years relevant nursing experience
\n - At least 1 year in an outpatient oncology clinic
\n - BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC) certifications required
\n - Oncology certification: ONS or ONCC preferred
\n - Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
\n - 2 supervisor references from within the past year required at submission
\n
**Roles & Responsibilities**
\n - Provide nursing care to patients in an outpatient oncology setting.
\n - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
\n - Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
\n - Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
\n - Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
\n - Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records.
\n
**Compliance / Notes**
\n - Available RTO: Max 7 days; no RTO within first 2 weeks of assignment
\n - Background checks and references are required.
\n
