Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- California SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience in school settings, pediatric speech therapy, or healthcare environments is highly valued
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred for diverse student engagement
- Collaborative, adaptable, and enthusiastic about student-focused interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy for K-12 students in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective intervention plans
- Provide support to teachers and families, offering strategies for successful communication and academic progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Foster an encouraging and inclusive space for all learners, celebrating their achievements
