ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Paraprofessional for a contract position with a fantastic school district in Mill Valley, California. Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or small group support to students in a special education or general education classroom setting.

Assist the lead teacher with classroom management, instructional activities, and adapting lessons as needed.

Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and track student progress.

Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development.

Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other school staff.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s degree or higher is a plus).

Previous experience working in a school setting, in special education, or as a pediatric behavior technician is highly preferred.

Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and adaptability.

Must meet state requirements for paraprofessionals in California.

Note: Some positions may require assistance with toileting or personal care depending on the student's needs.
