Position Overview\n
CVS Health is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Vaccination Initiative team. The RN will provide immunization services in a retail healthcare setting, administering a variety of vaccines including Influenza, COVID-19, MMR, and other CDC-recommended immunizations. This is a patient-facing role that requires excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

- Administer immunizations including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other recommended vaccines following CDC and state guidelines.
- Assess patients prior to vaccination and monitor for adverse reactions following immunization.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all vaccinations and patient encounters.
- Educate patients regarding vaccine benefits, possible side effects, and post-vaccination care.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety protocols, and immunization best practices.
- Maintain vaccine inventory and proper storage in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals to provide efficient patient care.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while promoting a positive patient experience.
- Adapt to changing workflows and support clinic operations as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Required Qualifications\n
- \n
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization administration.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Experience administering multiple vaccines in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail healthcare environment.
- Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED (required).

Preferred Qualifications\n

- Previous retail clinic, occupational health, public health, or vaccination clinic experience.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) documentation.
- Strong customer service background.
- Previous experience working with CVS Health or Aetna (preferred but not required).
