Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, plans, organizes, directs, and manages the District’s risk management programs. This position provides direct supervision and evaluation of assigned HR technical and clerical staff. Core responsibilities include administering workers’ compensation, the return-to-work program, state and federal leaves of absence, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)/Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) interactive accommodation process, Injury and Illness Prevention Program, and related areas of risk identified to District needs. Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, Education Code, district policies, administrative regulations, and collective bargaining agreements. Provides assistance, counsel, and training to the District; and performs other related work as required.

Salary Schedule
Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree in personnel management, risk management, or a related field preferred.
At least three years of progressive experience in Human Resources and/or risk management preferably in a school district or public agency.
Possess and maintain a valid California Driver’s License.
Employment Type

Full time, 8 hours, 5 days per week, 12 months per year
