Maintenance Manager – Chino, CA

Schedule: M–F, 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

Salary: $85K–$120K DOE

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced metal stamping/automotive manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all equipment, facilities, and utility systems while leading a team and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee all maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements
  • Develop and manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs
  • Lead and supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and daily activities
  • Ensure proper operation of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Monitor equipment performance, maintenance data, and spare parts inventory
  • Partner with Production and Engineering to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
  • Maintain maintenance records, reports, and compliance documentation
  • Support safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, etc.)
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve OEE and reduce costs

Quality & Compliance

  • Support QMS (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and customer requirements
  • Participate in audits and implement corrective actions
  • Assist with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and root cause analysis
  • Ensure equipment readiness for production, launches, and engineering changes
  • Train team on safety, maintenance procedures, and quality standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering or related field)
  • 5+ years of maintenance leadership in manufacturing
  • Experience in metal stamping or automotive preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and facility systems
  • Familiarity with CMMS and Microsoft Office
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 experience
  • Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement background
