Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Pediatric OR RN for a fast-paced Procedure Center position requiring general surgery experience, ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications, and a CA RN license.

- Work in a pediatric hospital Procedure Center/Operating Room environment
- Primary patient population is inpatient and outpatient pediatric patients, with adults seen on rare occasions
- Minor surgical cases include ENT, Plastics, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology, Dentistry, Oncology, and GI/Pulmonary (Endoscopy)
- EMR system is SurgiNet (Cerner); verified experience is required
- Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
- On-call required: 5 weekday call shifts and 2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule
- Weekend coverage is required
- No floating required

Requirements\n

- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience; acute or outpatient experience accepted provided the candidate has experience in the majority of the listed surgical specialties
- General surgery experience required
- Experience in the majority of the listed specialties (ENT, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Dentistry, Oncology, GI/Pulmonary) strongly preferred
- Verified SurgiNet (Cerner) EMR experience required
- Strong skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment required

- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
- Willingness to train in endoscopy is a plus for candidates with GI/Pulmonary interest
- Contract length is 13 weeks with potential for extension beyond 13 weeks
