Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and staff management.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Prepare high-quality dishes according to menu specifications while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
- Assist in catering events as needed, ensuring timely delivery of food services.
- Handle shift management responsibilities, including scheduling staff and coordinating kitchen activities during service hours.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
- Experience in inventory management and control within a restaurant or catering environment.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Proficient in shift management, ensuring smooth operations during peak hours.
- Background in food service management is preferred, with an understanding of dietary department requirements being an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

The job pay $30 an hour for the first month, after the initial training the salary will change to $77,000-$80,000
