Position Summary:

The Engineering Operations Director provides strategic leadership for engineering and facilities operations at a large, high-tech campus. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of building systems while leading engineering teams, managing budgets, driving operational excellence, and partnering with key stakeholders to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead engineering and facilities operations across the campus.
- Manage engineering teams, vendors, and service providers.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for critical building systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage operating and capital budgets.
- Drive continuous improvement, reliability, and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Support capital projects and facility improvements.
- Monitor operational performance through KPIs and service metrics.

Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of engineering or facilities management experience.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

- Experience supporting advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, or mission-critical facilities.
- Professional certifications such as PE, CFM, or FMP are a plus.
