Job Description

Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the LA area, supporting students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, on-site position offers a fulfilling chance to make a direct impact on student communication and learning while working alongside a supportive team of educational professionals.

Key qualifications sought for this role:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, active CA SLP License
  • Valid CTC document, such as a preliminary or clear SLP credential, or a Certificate of Clearance
  • Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates welcome, provided supervision is confirmed
  • Experience in a school setting is highly valued
  • Ability to travel between up to four schools within a one-hour or 20-mile commute radius
  • Commitment to a full-time schedule: 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of approximately 55-60 students from diverse age groups
  • Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering direct therapy
  • Collaborating with educational staff and support teams—case management handled by dedicated personnel at each site
  • Providing thorough documentation and progress updates
  • Ensuring best practices and compliance with IEP requirements
  • Assessment materials reimbursement (please budget for approximately $2500 in materials)

Enjoy the structure of a reliable schedule during the school year, with campus assignments confirmed after orientation. Travel is supported with manageable commutes, and the district ensures you’ll remain within a reasonable distance.

If you possess the required credentials and are passionate about helping students achieve communication milestones, seize the chance to thrive in a collaborative environment. Applications from both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows are welcome; supervision must be secured for the latter. Submit your application today and take the next step in your speech-language pathology career.
