Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support position within schools
- Understanding of classroom routines and instructional support
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers and staff
- Patience and compassion in assisting students with diverse learning needs
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional educational credentials)
- Willingness to contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist certified teachers with classroom management and daily lesson activities
- Provide one-on-one or small group support for students, following instructional plans
- Help monitor student progress and provide feedback as needed
- Aid students with assignments, organization, and social interactions
- Support students requiring accommodations or additional supervision
- Contribute to the creation of an engaging, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
