A Non-Profit Medical Group serving the communities of Los Angeles, is searching for dedicated Bilingual Medical Assistants to join their exceptional team!
Medical Assistants will support a busy Community Health Clinic serving pediatric and general practice patients. The ideal candidates are compassionate, detail-oriented professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Pay Rate: $24.00/hr
Shift: M-F – 8:00AM – 5:30PM
Location: Echo Park, CA
Job Requirements for Medical Assistant:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or General Practice.
- Previous experience working in a Community Health Clinic preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) required.
- Comfortable administering immunizations and injections to both pediatric and adult patients.
- Proficient in venipuncture and blood collection techniques.
- Current Medical Assistant Certification required.
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, infection control practices, and clinical best practices.
