Ballet Teacher
Founded in 2008, Tutu School is a quaint and whimsical collection of boutique ballet schools designed to foster creativity and joy while encouraging tiny dancers to fully exercise their imagination as well as bodies. With over 100 locations across the U.S. and Canada, Tutu School provides an imaginative curriculum that celebrates the magic of childhood and builds confidence through movement.
We are Tutu Collective Inc., a proud multi-unit franchisee of Tutu School. We currently operate 11 Tutu School locations across California, New York and Connecticut. We are hiring for a Ballet Teacher for The Bay Area. This position will report directly to the Regional Director and Principal Teacher.
Job Summary
Seeking a warm, engaging Ballet Teacher to lead 45-minute classes using Tutu School’s curriculum. Responsibilities include teaching young dancers, supporting families, assisting with retail sales, maintaining studio cleanliness, and communicating with the team. Ideal for those passionate about early childhood dance education.
Responsibilities
- Lead 45-minute classes following Tutu School's carefully crafted Class Curriculum.
- Take attendance and answer questions about class membership and promotions.
- Build rapport and communication with students' families and prospective clients.
- Perform basic retail duties including product restocking and processing sales using a point-of-sale system.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the studio, lobby, retail display, and bathroom.
- Communicate effectively with management and administration. Use Slack for communication with managers and teachers.
- Create a safe space for all students and their families.
- Participate in teacher meetings and training.
- Meet specific metrics including:
- Trial Class: Minimum of 50% conversion rate
- Brave Bash: Minimum of 50% participation rate
- Participating in marketing events and promotions
- Discussing studio offerings such as, camp, birthday parties, etc.

Qualifications
- Experience in dancing with a ballet background is strongly preferred
- Teaching experience is preferred
- High school or equivalent is preferred
