What You will Be Doing
Administrative Support
- Complete accurate patient documentation
- Manage EMR tasks (lab orders, charting, charges)
- Respond to patient calls and concerns.
- Request, scan, and manage medical records.
- Process referrals and maintain accurate patient data.
- Review and distribute incoming faxes.
- Processing Medical Record
- Assist Medical Assistants as needed.
Scheduling
- Manage appointments (schedule/reschedule/cancellations)
- Keep provider schedules accurate and efficient.
- Educate patients on upcoming visits and procedures.
- Work on incoming new patient referrals
- QA & correct any scheduling errors.
What You Bring
- 1+ year Medical Assistant experience
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Strong EMR and computer skills
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- A positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Excellent organization and time management
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Medical terminology and clinical procedures
