Joyful Learning Educational Development Center is seeking a caring and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to provide high-quality care and instruction in a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. The teacher will support children’s learning and development through age-appropriate activities and positive interactions.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities and lessons
- Support children’s social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Use positive behavior guidance and active supervision
- Complete observations and required documentation
- Communicate professionally with families and staff
- Follow health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Participate in trainings, meetings, and safety drills
Qualifications
- 12 ECE units required; Infant/Toddler units and CTC permit preferred
- Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Must pass Live Scan, TB test, and required screenings
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
