Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Type: Temporary

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform soldering of surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using soldering irons, hand tools, and other assembly equipment.
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, work instructions, and IPC-A-610 standards to ensure proper assembly and soldering quality.
  • Conduct visual inspections of solder joints and completed assemblies to verify compliance with IPC-A-610 quality standards.
  • Assemble mechanical components and wire electrical systems according to schematics and engineering specifications.
  • Safely and efficiently operate hand tools and manufacturing equipment during assembly processes.
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions and production procedures to meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies.
  • Report quality concerns, material shortages, or production issues to supervisors as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience soldering both Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and through-hole electronic components.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, assembly instructions, and IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Experience using soldering irons, hand tools, and electronic assembly equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes and quality standards.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precision assembly work.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production deadlines.
  • IPC-A-610 certification is preferred but not required.
