The Need to Knows:

- Location: San Francisco, CA
- Schedule: Hybrid or Remote
- Salary: $205,000-$340,000
- Billable Requirement: 1,850 Hours Annually
- Merit-based bonuses and full benefits.

The Need to Haves:

\n

- Active member of the California State Bar.
- Outstanding academic credentials from a top-tier school and strong research & writing skills.
- 7+ years of experience in public law and municipal representation, advising cities, counties, special districts, and other public agencies throughout California. Attorneys with a public law litigation background are also encouraged to apply.

Job Duties:
\n
\n
- \n
- Draft and review agreements, including public agency and municipal contracts
- Research and analyze issues arising under the Political Reform Act, FPPC Regulations, the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, and similar ethics laws
- Support attorneys on transactional and advisory matters for public agency clients
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
- Analyze land use, zoning, Subdivision Map Act, and CEQA issues
- Advise on public contracting, procurement, and regulatory compliance
- Communicate with clients, public officials, and colleagues
