Position Summary

- This role is designed for a skilled professional to support the GPCA Parts Department by managing risk and ensuring cost governance across logistics operations, third-party contracts, and compliance adherence. The contractor will focus on optimizing processes, identifying cost-saving initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Roles & Responsibilities
\n

- Conducting operational risk assessments and monitoring.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Managing third-party contracts and 3PL compliance to mitigate risks
- Monitor parts inbound and outbound escalation cases to identify opportunities and improvements in related operations, logistics, and quality.
- Coordinate communication between multiple parties including, SDSA, LPS, Field Service, Suwon and warehouse teams to develop and/or revise protocol on parts handling, quality, and defect and damages.
- Conduct operational risk assessments on operation, logistics, and warehouse for department-level risk early sensing and initiate projects for risk prevention and improvements.
- Ensure warehouse and logistics cost governance by collaborating with SDSA and LPS to verify correct invoicing within policy.
- Oversee compliance and regulatory adherence (safety and environmental) governance in collaboration with SDSA and LPS aligning with industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications
\n

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in risk management, logistics operations, or cost governance. Will accept below 5 years as well
- Candidates with less experience may still be considered if they can learn quickly.
- Proven ability to analyze processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in logistics and warehousing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
