Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing, optimizing, and measuring integrated marketing campaigns that promote the organization's programs, advocacy initiatives, educational offerings, products, services, and events. This position partners closely with internal stakeholders to increase member awareness, engagement, and participation across California's Credit Unions, Nevada's Credit Unions, and Utah's Credit Unions.
The ideal candidate is a creative, analytical marketer with experience in digital marketing, email marketing, marketing operations, and campaign performance. This role is responsible for ensuring marketing initiatives are effectively executed, continuously improved, and supported by data-driven insights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities]

Execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, website, social media, and digital channels.

Coordinate campaign execution to ensure projects remain on schedule and align with organizational priorities.

Collaborate with writers, designers, email marketer, marketing specialist, and internal departments to deliver successful marketing initiatives.

Ensure campaigns consistently reflect organizational branding and messaging.

Maintain and optimize website marketing content and landing pages.

Recommend improvements to enhance website engagement and user experience.

Support search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives and digital marketing best practices.

Research emerging digital marketing trends and recommend new strategies that support organizational goals.

Partner with the email marketer to support integrated email marketing campaigns.

Recommend audience segmentation strategies, campaign timing, and marketing approaches.

Analyze email performance and recommend improvements to increase engagement and conversions.

Assist with A/B testing, marketing automation, and email marketing best practices.

Serve as backup support for basic email creation and scheduling when needed.

Monitor campaign performance across marketing channels.

Develop reports and dashboards highlighting campaign effectiveness, member engagement, and marketing trends.

Track key performance indicators including website traffic, email performance, campaign engagement, and participation metrics.

Use data and insights to recommend improvements for future marketing initiatives.

Support continuous improvement of marketing processes, workflows, and campaign execution.

Maintain the department's marketing calendar and assist with campaign scheduling.

Assist in documenting marketing procedures, templates, and best practices.

Support implementation and optimization of marketing platforms and digital tools.

Maintain marketing assets, templates, and shared resources to ensure consistency across the department.

Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, collaboration, and the overall member experience.

Identify opportunities to increase member awareness and participation across organizational initiatives.

Research audience behavior and marketing trends to support campaign recommendations.

Assist with member surveys and engagement initiatives.

Recommend innovative marketing tactics that strengthen member engagement.

Write and edit short-form marketing content including headlines, email copy, social media posts, landing pages, advertisements, and promotional materials.

Support content updates across digital marketing channels.

Ensure messaging aligns with organizational branding and marketing objectives.

Build collaborative relationships across departments.

Serve as a marketing resource by recommending promotional strategies and marketing best practices.
