SkillsandRequirements:
- Highschooldiplomawithadditional2yearstechnicaltrainingdesiredorConstructionManagementdegree.
- Minimum1-2yearsexperienceinaSeniortechnicianrole,priorfieldexperiencerequired.
- ExcellenttechnicalknowledgeofelectricalsystemsandtheNEC.
- ElectricalEstimatingbackground.
- StrongcomputerskillsandexperienceinMicrosoftOfficeproducts.
- Abilitytoadjusttorapidlychangingprioritiesandworkunderpressure.

EssentialFunctions:
- Managesfinancials,ensuresthatjobsthatrequireplanningandlayoutreceiveit,identifiesrisksandhurdlesofeachworkorderandplansessentialresourcestominimizeanyfinancialslippage.
- ManagesServicetechniciangainsharepayout.
- Overseevanstocksetup,organizationandsupervisingtheprocurementandtrackingofmaterials.
- RecognizesproblemsearlyandinformsthenecessarystakeholderstoprotectInPwr'sinstallationqualityandfinancialinterests.
- Schedulesandperformspostmortemwithappropriateteammembersonalljobsthatare+5-10%aboveorbelowtheexpectedmargintoensuremistakesarenotreoccurringandbestpracticesarerepeatableandcelebrated.
- Reviewworkordersweeklyforeachtechandclienttoidentifytrendswithinstallationandoverallsatisfaction.
- Reviewandapprovesubmittalswithaccountmanagerbeforerequestingclientapproval.
- Ensurescustomersatisfactionandsolicitscustomerfeedbackfromallservicecustomersandconstantpresencesites.
- Communicateswithcustomersandtechnicianstocoordinatejobschedulingandsitecompliance.
- Ensuresthatprojectschedulingmeetsthetimegoalsofthecustomer.
- Assistswithdesign/buildactivitieswhenrequiredbycustomers.
- Providesaccurateinformationtoensureproperprojectinitializationandclose-outtakeplace.
- Assuresthatallpermits,licenses,andinspectionsfilingsarecompleted.
- Schedulesweeklyactivitiesofallassignedpersonnel.
- IdentifiesmaterialrequirementsofprojectsandworkswithPCtoensuretimelydeliveryofmaterialforjobs.
- Assistspersonnelwithon-siteproblemswhennecessary.
- Preparesprojectstatusreportsand/orschedules,ifapplicable.
- Prices,submitstoowner,andexpeditesallchangeorderrequests.
- Assurestimelycompletionofpunchlistitems.
- Assurestimelysubmissionofaccurateas-builtdrawings,whenapplicable.
- Respondsinatimelymannertoemployeeconcerns.
- Reviewsandensuresthatallreportsandpaperworkfromthefieldisaccuratepriortosubmittingtodataentry.
- Attendsjobmeetingsonprojectswhenrequired.
- Assistsingeneralbusinessdevelopmentactivities.
WorkingConditions:
- Thispositionsometimesoperatesinanofficeenvironmentbutwillrequireregularvisitstoconstructionsites.
- JobRequiresworkinginallelements,dependingonjoblocation,timeofyear(heat,cold,rain,andsnow).
- Mustbeabletoutilizeconstructionsitesanitaryfacilities(Porta-Johns).
- Wearpersonalprotectiveequipment(hardhat,safetyglassesatalltimes),respiratorwhenrequired.
- Repetitiveuseofarms,hands,andfingers
- Abletowork8hoursperday,40hoursperweek,overtimeasrequiredandnightshifts.
- Allelementsinsideandout.
Working/Environment/PhysicalDemandstosuccessfullyperformtheessentialfunctionsofthisjob.Thisisastationarypositionthatrequiresfrequentsittingorstanding,repetitivewristmotions,grasping,speaking,listening,closevision,colorvision,andtheabilitytoadjustfocus.Theemployeemustoccasionallyliftand/ormoveupto15pounds.Employeesinthispositionmustbephysicallyabletoefficientlyperformtheessentialfunctionsoftheposition.Candidatesmustbeabletoconductsitevisitstoprovideestimates,navigatingavarietyofconditionsandenvironments.
